Hello Common Groundland!
Wow - we want to inform you that we have 4 shows this week in 3 days!
First up, on Thursday, August 17th - "The Bill & Phil Acoustical Medicinal Compound & Medicine Show Extravaganza" will be doing an acoustic show at DOCK'S RIVERFRONT CAFE - this is Bill & Phil's debut performance there and we'd like everyone to be there to enjoy the view, the laughs, the sounds, the songs and we'll all see if we can spit off the side of the deck & hit the river! Dock's is right off I35 & Lake Brazos Drive (MLK) near Baylor - you know where it is. Show starts around 9:00 or so.
Next, on Friday, August 18th we have a FULL BAND SHOW at DJ's in Elm Mott. This will be a loud, rowdy, outdoor show that will almost certainly keep the neighbors up and hopefully we'll get the cops called on us again for being too loud! That's always fun. Ya know, the back seats in those cop cars are a lot nicer than you think! Show starts around 9:30 - we think? DJ's is located north of Waco on I35 - Take the 343 Exit - you can't miss it! (Well, you CAN, but you'd be a dork)
Then on Saturday, August 19th Bill & Phil have TWO shows - they'll bring their exciting, acoustic show to the TREFF's "Back to School Party" - at TREFF'S BAR & GRILL on Austin Ave in Waco - they'll play a one hour show from 6:00 - 7:00 pm - and as soon as their done, we'll all mosey, sashay, run, walk or drive over to the LAKE BRAZOS STEAKHOUSE where Bill & Phil will kick off again at 8:00! The boss-man out there, Shane, is real cool, sometimes he let's us drive the River Boat while we're drunk! So, you don't wanna miss that!
Whew!
Confused? Scared? We all are...

That's all for this week and we want to thank "G.J." from Waco for knowing the answer to last weeks punchline to the Scottish joke - "Of course she's served millions - she's a McDonald!" but we also would have accepted, "She's in the cellar making Johnny Walker Red."
